About Our Site

TrafficSignsAndMeanings was formed to offer a unique reference point on all you need to know about traffic signs.

If you are you confused by the many different traffic signs in the UK, this is the website for you. Even for experienced drivers, getting your head around all of the traffic signs, traffic signals and road markings, and what exactly they are instructing you to do can be bewildering. It's likely that at least some of the UK's traffic signs will be unfamiliar to you!

TrafficSignsAndMeanings offers comprehensive information and advice on traffic signs in the UK. From traffic signs, traffic signals and road markings to speed limits, TrafficSignsAndMeanings discusses what the various traffic signs mean and the penalties that you can expect if you breach their instructions. The website covers traffic signs, traffic signals and road markings on standard roads, motorways, junctions and pedestrian crossings. You will also find advice about how road markings affect parking procedures.

Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject.

Our features and articles are written by experts - who have experience, or a particular interest in this area.
